What our Listeners says
Who We Are
It's only about Jesus
JustGospel exists to proclaim the Good News of Christ — through great music, faithful teaching, honest testimony, and the kind of radio that actually helps someone get through a Tuesday.
We are independent. We broadcast 24/7 from the Vaal Triangle in Gauteng, South Africa, and we are heard in 33 countries. Our listeners stay tuned for an average of 72 minutes per session — more than double the industry norm for online radio. That's not a reach statistic. That's a depth statistic. People don't just find us. They stay.
Our programming is Jesus-centred by design. We don't fill airtime with lifestyle content, celebrity chatter, or adjacent non-Christian material. Every show, every playlist, every segment has one mission behind it: Mark 16:15 — Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
JustGospel operates through two legally distinct entities working under one shared mission — JustGospel (Pty) Ltd for the commercial broadcast operation, and JustGospel Foundation NPC for the ministry and community outreach work. More on that below.
For listeners
You're looking for radio that doesn't waste your time with noise. You want music that moves you, teaching that builds you, voices that sound like they actually believe what they're saying.
You'll find that here.
Our weekday schedule is structured, not random. Medical Monday brings biblical health and wellness. Testimony Tuesday is where real stories of God's faithfulness live. Kingdom Business Wednesday speaks to those building businesses the Godly way. Pray On It Thursday is prayer-centred. Friday brings Community Connections — where we link arms with what God is doing across the Vaal.
Weekend programming opens up for longer worship sets, sermons, and soul music that carries you from one week to the next.
Press play. Stay a while. That's the invitation.
For partner churches and ministries
JustGospel is built to be a platform for what the Body of Christ is already doing — not a replacement for it.
We partner with local churches, ministries, ministry networks, and parachurch organisations who need a way to reach beyond their own walls. That might mean on-air sermon broadcasts, testimony features on Testimony Tuesday, event coverage through our outside broadcast team, or ongoing programming slots for ministries with an anointed teaching voice and something to say.
We don't require partners to share our doctrine on every secondary issue. We do require that the core Gospel — the deity of Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection, salvation by grace through faith — is preached without compromise. Beyond that, we make room for the diversity of the Bride.
If your ministry has a message, a testimony, an event, or a vision we should know about, reach out. We'll have a conversation.
For sponsors and advertisers
JustGospel is an independent, professionally structured radio business — not a hobby station with a donation jar.
When you advertise on JustGospel, you're buying attention, not just airtime. Our 72-minute average listening session — more than double the industry norm — means your ad plays to an audience that is actually there. Not switching tabs. Not walking away. Worshipping, working, driving, listening.
Our reach is real: nearly 5,000 loyal listeners across 33 countries, with listeners returning an average of 34 sessions over a 90-day window. These are people who come back.
Every number on this page is drawn directly from our Zeno.fm streaming analytics, our current verified streaming provider. If you'd like to see the dashboard before you commit, just ask. We don't hide the math.

How we're structured
JustGospel operates through a deliberately designed dual-entity structure. This isn't administrative detail — it's how we've protected both the mission and the ministry, and it's what separates us from hobby stations and informal operations.
JustGospel (Pty) Ltd is the commercial broadcast entity. It owns and operates the station, manages advertising and sponsorship revenue, runs the streaming infrastructure, and handles all commercial partnerships. This is the side of the business that keeps the lights on, the broadcast running, and the staff paid. It is registered with the CIPC and operates under standard commercial compliance.
JustGospel Foundation NPC is the non-profit entity. It carries the ministry, community outreach, non-commercial events, and benevolence work. When we run an outside broadcast for a township revival, when we partner with a local church on a community campaign, when we host events that serve the Kingdom rather than the bottom line — that's the Foundation. The NPC is registered with the CIPC as a non-profit company.
Both entities share the same founding mission and the same governing philosophy: Jesus as CEO. The separation exists so that commercial pressures never compromise ministry integrity, and so that ministry work never burdens the commercial operation with obligations it wasn't built to carry. Two vehicles. One road. One destination.
This structure also means that advertisers, sponsors, donors, and ministry partners always know which entity they're dealing with and why. Transparency by design.
The founder
JustGospel was founded by Carlett Badenhorst — Honours-qualified psychologist, accredited photographer, working journalist, community councillor, and founder and CEO of the station.
Carlett's background is unusual for a radio founder. The psychology degree shapes how the station thinks about listener care, content pacing, and emotional resonance. The journalism work (she runs Project CBNews and has reported on assignment in the DRC and Angola) shapes our commitment to accurate, non-sensational storytelling. The photography practice (Photos@Carlett Studio, established 2011, LPPSA-accredited) gives the broader media ecosystem its visual identity. The council work keeps her accountable to the Vaal community we broadcast from.
She operates every venture under a single governing philosophy: Jesus as CEO. Not a marketing line — a governance commitment. Every strategic decision, programming choice, and financial call is weighed against Kingdom priorities first.
Our spiritual covering
JustGospel operates under a spiritual covering that predates the station itself. We honour that covering quietly rather than publicly. If you'd like to understand more about how we think about spiritual accountability and who we answer to in that dimension, visit Our Spiritual Covering.
Mission
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." — Mark 16:15
That's the whole brief. Everything else is logistics.
